Why Choose Us

This Is What Sets Us Apart From The Rest

  • ACCOUNTABLE - All of the Wilmington Recovery homes are legally permitted and zoned to operate by the City of Wilmington. If you find a home that cannot provide a Group Home Supportive Permit, it is in violation of City Zoning Ordinance. This is important because you want your loved one in a reputable establishment.
  • EXPERIENCED - Kelly, the Director, has many years experience living, working in and managing recovery housing, which has helped him and his staff to create an effective and structured program that provides optimal care for members and support for their families.
  • AFFORDABLE - Low entry and weekly costs give those new to recovery a viable opportunity at re-creating their lives.
  • SOBRIETY - WILMINGTON RECOVERY OFFERS THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF TESTING AROUND, with 12 panel random testing and laboratory confirmation that can pick up any illicit drug. This includes the new e-cigarette drugs and the so-called legal drugs, Kratom & Kava. Nothing will so much ensure stability in a group home as adequate testing. Lab confirmation is required for those with private health insurance, medicaid or medicare.
  • RECOVERY - Weekly small peer groups (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday)
  • SECURITY - 24/7 monitoring in the common areas for personal safety and the security of your property.
  • INTEGRITY - Our members can rest assured that their housemates are living free of illicit drugs and alcohol.
  • RESPECT - You will be treated as an adult and never talked down to, but instead guided to new positive behaviors.
  • IMPROVEMENT - Open door policy to recommendations that can make Wilmington Recovery a better program!
